Online: Japanese Woodworking (japanesewoodworking.net) lists communities. Facebook groups—Japanese Woodworking Tools, Techniques, and Interests; Japanese Woodworking Tools Buy, Sell, Trade—have hundreds to thousands of members. Reddit r/JapaneseWoodworking has an active Discord.

In Japan: Hambara Miyadaiku (founded 230+ years ago) is the sole surviving miyadaiku guild in Kanto; they offer workshops on kanna, kigumi, and woodcraft. About 300 active miyadaiku remain. Suikoushya (Kyoto), led by Takami Kawai, teaches classes for all levels. Kanda-gumi does shrine and temple restoration.

International: Japan Woodcraft Association (London) connects UK and Japanese woodcraft with workshops and master craftspeople.
